Gulf Shores Reservation Policy: The Original Oyster House Gulf Shores location takes reservations for 10 people or more EXCEPT during busy HOLIDAY WEEKENDS or during the spring and summer months (from April 1 to Labor Day Weekend). Mobile Causeway Reservation Policy The Original Oyster House on the Mobile Causeway accepts reservations Monday through Thursday for 10 or more. We discontinue reservations during the summer months (from May 1 to Labor Day Weekend) or during busy HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. We apologize for the inconvenience. Your best strategy may be to arrive as early as possible.
The Banquet Room [minimum 30 guests to 100] can be reserved for your events. Please call and talk to a manager to book your family or group. 251-626-2188.
Original Oyster House Take-Out Policy
Gulf Shores Take-Out Policy: During the summer, the Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores offers take out until 3 pm and does not offer take-out after 3 pm (from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend) or busy HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. We apologize for this inconvenience. Grab N Go items are available in the refrigerator.
Mobile Causeway Take-Out Policy: The Original Oyster House on the Mobile Causeway [Spanish Fort, AL] offers take-out Mon. through Thur. from 11 to close, and Fri. from 11 to 5 pm. We do not offer take-out on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to close, or Friday after 5 pm. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Original Oyster House Birthday Policy
Celebrating a birthday? We love birthdays, especially recognizing that your family and friends have chosen our place to celebrate such a special occasion. Our FREE gift to the birthday boy or girl, outside of our celebratory birthday bash, is a small birthday cake with whipped topping and chocolate syrup. The ALABAMA STATE BOARD OF HEALTH safeguards public health which doesn’t allow for pets in restaurants unless they are service animals, which are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Emotional Support Animal: By Law, an ESA does not qualify as a Service Dog. ESAs do NOT have Public Access.
