The Original Oyster House – Causeway/Spanish Fort restaurant is seeking qualified candidates for the Cashier position! Qualified candidates should have a positive and friendly disposition, great customer service, be professional, well-groomed, and a team-player.
This ideal candidate should be available to work a variety of hours including days, nights, weekends and some holidays. Will also be expected to fill in as needed in a Host role. No previous restaurant experience needed.
Starting rate of pay is $13 an hour.

Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle cash/credit card transactions and keeps all transactions reports
- Issue receipts, change, or tickets as well as redeem coupons and discounts
- Welcome guests
- Maintain a clean front area
- Take to-go orders and answer the phone to provide relevant information to guests
- Promptly and professionally handles guest issues and communicates problems and concerns to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
