The Original Oyster House restaurants honored over 850 veterans and active military with a free meal on Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11 am to close at the Gulf Shores and Mobile Causeway locations. The Original Oyster House is making this an annual event and is set for next year on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
“We want to thank all military personnel who served our country and who sacrifice so much in protecting our freedom. One way we can honor them is by providing a Gulf Coast seafood meal on Veteran’s Day. We also pay tribute to our service men and women with Military Mondays, providing military a 10% discount every Monday,” stated co-founder David Dekle.
